Purification Technology
Faber Galaxy Plus water purifier uses an 8-stage purification system to provide you pure & safe drinking water. The 8 stages of purification are – External Sediment Filter (20 microns), Pre-Carbon Filter, Sediment Filter (5 microns), RO Membrane, Post Carbon Filter/MAT Filter, UF Membrane, and UV Filter.
Faber Galaxy Plus comes with a free external sediment filter also known as a pre-filter. This means an extra saving of around Rs. 500 – 750.
The RO membrane used is a Filmtech RO membrane. Made in the USA, this RO membrane is suitable for water with a high TDS level of up to 2,500 ppm. Since this RO water purifier does not use any TDS controller, the purified water is 100% RO purified.
The MAT or Mineral Addition Technology Filter adds back common essential minerals, like copper, calcium, and magnesium that are naturally found in drinking water. RO purification results in demineralization of water, de-mineralized water is tasteless and considered unhealthy.

How do we know the filter need to be changed
Faber Galaxy Plus does not come with an automatic filter change alert. You’ll need to follow the filter change schedule as given in the user manual. Or you can also follow the standard RO membrane and filter change schedule.
Please do not purchase any Faber product. They suck. Bad design and very poor service.
I am a big sufferer after taking the Faber products.
Never buy its only waste of money. 2nd time in 6 months it’s dead and took 20 to 30 days to repair
