Havells Max RO+UV Water Purifier
Havells Max RO+UV Water Purifier is an advanced version of another Havells water purifier Havells Pro. The only difference between the two is, Max RO+UV offers 7 stage purification and Pro RO+UV offers 6 stage purification.
Havells Max RO+UV adds an additional stage of purification at the end, called ‘Revitalizer Cartridge’. This 7th stage of purification does not additionally purify water but it makes the water healthy by restructuring the water molecules. This process makes the purified water biologically active which improves hydration and mineral absorption.
Havells Max RO+UV features a futuristic yet extremely simple design. This advanced 7 Stage RO+UV purifier, not only looks artistically brilliant but provides reliable purification.
Havells Max can be easily mounted on a tabletop, straight wall, or corner. Havells Max comes in a vibrant dual-tone combination of white and aqua green.
Unlike other water purifiers which feature a tap for water dispensing, this Havells water purifier comes with a unique soft-touch faucet design that ensures zero splashes, zero contamination, and smooth flow.

2. Activated Carbon Cartridge: Removes a wide range of dissolved organic impurities such as pesticides, and herbicides. It also removes chlorine and bad odor.
3. RO Membrane: Removes dissolved impurities and harmful heavy metals like lead, arsenic, mercury, chromium, fluorides, and iron, etc.
4. Germicidal UV: Germicidal UV C at an optimum Wavelength of 253.7nm irradiation, disinfects water and makes it free from microbiological impurities.
5. Mineralz Cartridge: Balances the pH level of purified water and re-mineralizes it by adding naturally occurring essential minerals and salts giving you healthier and tastier water.
6. Silver Impregnated Taste Enhancer: The last stage of purification removes organic residue and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) to improve the taste of water and adds a sparkling texture to it.
7. Revitalizer Cartridge: Revitalizer Cartridge restructures the water molecules and makes it biologically active to improve hydration and mineral absorption. In general terms, this makes the purified water more healthy for our body as the hydration capacity of water is increased and our body is able to absorb minerals (present in purified water) more effectively.
Futuristic Design
A simple look at Havells Max speaks volumes about its futuristic and one-of-a-kind design that lets you mount it in a corner saving your limited kitchen space. The compact design and vibrant dual-tone color combination of white and aqua green combined with a transparent water tank are sure to add that modern feel to your kitchen’s interiors.
Best-in-class Purification Technology
Many water purifier brands nowadays offer a feature known as a TDS controller in their RO+UV water purifiers. But the truth is this TDS Controller technology might do more harm than good.
To balance the minerals removed by the RO membrane some amount of water is made to pass through UF filtration only. What the TDS Controller effectively does is mixes the water from the RO membrane and UF filter to maintain the level of minerals in the purified water.
But the biggest disadvantage of this technology is the limitation of the UF filter, UF filter can’t remove harmful chemicals like Lead, Arsenic Pesticides, and Chromium.
What this essentially means is, if the incoming water contains any of these harmful impurities then the TDS controller results in the mixing of pure water from RO & impure water from UF which spoils the entire purification process.
Absolute safety through 100% RO and UV purification
Unlike the most RO+UV water purifiers available in the market, 100% water passes through RO & UV in Havells Max to give you 100% pure and safe drinking water. Instead of TDS Controller, Havells Max uses Mineralz Cartridge and Revitalizer Cartridge. Mineralz Cartridge adds essential natural minerals and salts to balance the pH level of purified water. Revitalizer Cartridge makes the purified water biologically active which improves the hydration capacity of water and the minerals present in water are better absorbed by our body.
Convenience Features
Apart from the space-saving design and innovative corner mount, the Havells Max water purifier also features some other amazing features like iProtect auto water cut-off, alerts for self-diagnostic, purification process, tank full, low water pressure, and error alerts for UV, SV, and pump failure.
iProtect purification monitoring
The advanced iProtect constantly monitors the purification process and automatically shuts off the water flow in case any internal failure is detected. This ensures that the water that you drink is always safe and pure.
Protection from Voltage Fluctuation
In a country like ours, voltage fluctuation is one the prime reasons which damage the home & kitchen appliances. But Havells Max water purifier features advanced electronics that ensure the purifier performs well in the voltage range of 170 V – 330 V. This is not all, the intelligent design automatically trips the power if the voltage exceeds 330 V or if it drops below 170 V. What this means is 100% protection from any electrical damage.
Ingress protection tank cover
The thoughtfully designed ingress protection tank cover keeps the purified water in the tank safe from contamination by insects and dust particles.
Removable tank
This is among the many USPs of this amazing piece of design, the water tank is designed in such a way that it can easily be removed for cleaning at regular intervals.
Smart User Interface
The smart interface of Havells Max RO+UV provides you various options for:
Self Diagnostic Mode: When power is switched on machine purifies water stagnant in the UV column.
Error Indications: gives indications if any critical component malfunctions
Purification Process Indicator: Glows when purification process is on
Tank Full Indicator: Glows when the tank is full.

I want to buy RO for home, but little bit confused about the brand. The TDS level of municipal water is 170 and someone has advised me to buy Havells Max Alkaline RO. What should be the ideal PH level for human consumption as the aforesaid RO maintains PH between 8-10. Please advise.
The ideal pH value as per the Drinking Water Quality Standards of India is 6.5 – 8.5.
Please suggest me which purifier will be best for TDS above 500. I can spend 12-15 k suggest me purifier with low maintenance costs, which will be best for me.
Hello Nisha, You’ll have to buy an RO water purifier for TDS above 500 PPM. Every month we shortlist the 10 best RO water purifiers. All these water purifiers fit your requirement criteria and you can choose any based on your preference.
Please I suggest Everyone not to buy Havelles Ro as it does not work properly .it is worst purifier
Hi, Im living in chennai. I use borewater which is yellow water (high iron content). I have a de-sallination plant for this. Water from this plant has tds 912. This water comes to my aqua guard (my current filter). This is RO only filter bought around 12 years back. Still performs good but high maintenance cost of around Rs. 5000 (AMC) per year.
Now I wish to change my Aqua guard filter to another one as I need to renew my AMC now. Instead of spending that amount for AMC, I prefer to put extra money and buy a new one.
My budget around Rs.15000 – 17000.
What I look for – RO+UV+Add needed minerals+Good Taste+Less water wastage+Low Maintenance cost.
Kindly recommend a suitable one.
Regards,
Ramesh
Hello Ramesh,
Most high-end water purifiers’ AMC would be around Rs. 4,000 to 5,000. Looking at your requirement and budget, Havells Max RO+UV and Kent Grand Plus would be a good choice.
In terms of low water wastage, AO Smith Z8 and X8 are very good as their water recovery is almost double as compared with other RO water purifiers.
I liked this Havells one, however nowhere it’s written how much max TDS it can support. I stay in Indirapuram Ghaziabad and here the TDS is over 2000. Will Havells be a better choice? Or Kent, as on Kent and purit its mentioned upto 2000 TDS, but it’s not mentioned for Havells.
Most residential RO water purifiers are designed for TDS levels up to 2000 mg/L. If the TDS level of the water at your home is above 2000 mg/L then it means the water is highly contaminated. You will either have to go for an industrial RO purifier or take help from a water purification expert for the right solution.
What is the approximate annual maintenance cost of Havells Max RO..?
Please suggest as I am going to purchase a new water purifier with the inlet of water from well. I am a bit confused abt Aquaguard & Havells, as Havells is giving alkaline water. Which water purifier shall I go with?
You can go with any good water purifier. Havells Max is definitely a very good choice as it comes with a set of excellent features.
Great review. I am looking for a water purifier which can give output TDS in a range 200-250. But everybody talks about inlet TDS and not output. Appreciate if you can give comparison of these purifiers w.r.t Output TDS levels. Also the TDS of water coming to my house is 300-350. Shall I go for RO or only UV+ UF?
The TDS level of the output water depends on the TDS level of the input water and the specifications of the RO membrane. Most RO membranes reduce the TDS level by 90 to up to 96%. In your case, the TDS level of the input water is around 300-350 ppm, so even if we consider the TDS reduction rate of 90% then the TDS level of the output water would be around 30-35 ppm. The ideal TDS range for RO purified water is 80-150 ppm.
We would recommend either a UV+UF water purifier or an RO purifier with mineralizer.
I have no experience on water purifiers . Planning to buy one . The tds level of tap water is 48 ppm . I was impressed by Havells Ro Uv 8 technology of purification explained by technician because it maintains alkaline ph of water . However all Ro systems waste 60%and utilize 40% which is a draw back . AO Smith Z8 purifier gives 60 % drinking water and 40% waste water . I was impressed by it , however when i went through reviews i got to know that people are repenting buying it . Now im thoroughly confused . Im looking out for purifiers which save water at the same time give excellent qualIty of water , which are easy to handle and maintain.Pls guide
For tap water with TDS level of 48 ppm, we do not recommend going for RO water purifier. A UV+UF water purifier is the best fit for your home. Please let us know if you need any recommendations for a UV+UF water purifier. Unlike RO water purifiers UV+UF water purifiers do not waste any water.
I don’t know if am only one facing this problem or others too, but I am spending too much on maintenance & repair for Kent. Every forty five days something or the other goes wrong. Disastrous purchase.
So considering a switch to PureIt or LivPure. Please let me know which one is better.
Our present tap TDS level 480 PPM, kindly help me to select the right product for me in terms of price, maintenance cost & service support, since I am new purchaser.
Instead of going for any particular brand blindly, we recommend choosing a water purifier that best fits your requirement.
However, if your only concern is the cost of maintenance, and you need to select one from Pureit and Livpure then we would recommend going with Livpure Pep Pro Plus or Livpure Glo.
