Like millions of Indians, are you also living in an area that suffers from the problem of hard water?
You know installing an RO water purifier is the best remedy if you want to turn this hard water into clean and pure drinking water.
But have you ever thought why your hair and skin feel so dry and rough even after using those expensive soaps, shampoos, and conditioners?
Does your water geyser require repair and servicing after every few months because of excessive salt deposits in the tank?
The reason for all these problems is hard water.
But, what is hard water?
Hard water is water with a high concentration of minerals like calcium and magnesium.
Hard water results in poor lather formation and leaves an oily layer on the skin and makes your hair rough. Hard water also forms a very hard layer of off-white deposits (scaling) on bath fittings.
Kent’s bathroom water softener converts hard water into soft water. Ideal for individual bathrooms, this smart product can be easily installed in the inlet line to the geyser.
This bathroom water softener from Kent will not only keep your hair and skin healthy but also keep your geyser and bath fittings free of deposits.
This hard water softener features a very high water flow rate of 1000 litres per hour. What this means is, it can soften up to 1,000 litres of water every hour. Isn’t this simply amazing?
Kent bathroom water softener works on the principle of Ion Exchange. The process reduces the hardness of water by exchanging magnesium (Mg+2 ) and calcium (Ca2+) ions with sodium (Na+ ) or potassium (K+) ions. This exchange of ions turns water soft.
Kent water softener does not use any filter or cartridges. What this means is, unlike other hard water softeners, you don’t have to change any filter or cartridges at regular intervals. This also means practically negligible maintenance cost.
This Kent water softener uses resin media to soften the water. The only thing that is needed to be done for a continuous supply of soft water is regeneration or recharging of ions for ion exchange. This may sound like performing some scientific experiment but in reality, this process requires you to simply add around 500 gm of common table salt in the top chamber. You’ll only have to spend roughly Rs. 15-20 per month for adding around one kg of common salt.
The resin media lasts for several years and costs around Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000.
The cycle of regeneration (adding of salt) depends on the TDS level of input water:
- After every 1200 – 1400 litres for TDS levels between 500 – 1000 mg/L.
- After every 750 –900 litres for TDS levels between 1000 – 2000 mg/L.
Like millions of Indians, are you also living in an area that suffers from the problem of hard water?
This water softener is ideal for installation in the inlet line to the geyser. However, if you want it can be installed at the main bathroom line but in that case, you will have to follow the process of regeneration more frequently because of increased water usage.
One of the worst customer services I have come across. Service people are so rude.
I suggest kindly do not go for this product. Hard ward is better than these people.
I ordered the product and waited for a month to install it, finally, the service people came and gave the connection only to hot water. They were so rude, with no cooperation. Very worst service. Waste of money.
Service is not good. The product is not as I expected. It’s good for hair but not so good for the skin.
Is anyone in the company is looking after customer complaints. I am really fed up by daily contacting you people but till date no response. My filter is not working since the beginning. I would like to advise please don’t buy Kent products. Pathetic after-sales service.
